Default Tomasz Adamek flying under the radar.

He's 36 but not a natural HW, granted, but he's got a nice little 4 fight streak going since his loss to Vitali.

Albeit not all great names but he has beaten Eddie Chambers(UD) & Steve Cunningham(SD) within the 4 wins. He is supposedly to fight Kubrat Puvlev next, which will make it a pretty nice 5 fight streak if he can come through with the (w)!

Does anybody seriously believe he can win a serious HW world title though?

I'm not so sure he can topple a Klitschko, as he struggled to land anything noteworthy on Vitali, plus he isn't an overly huge puncher.

Pulev will be no walkover. I can see him beating Adamek comfortably if he utilizes his excellent jab and boxes Adamek early before turning up the heat.

Great CW, Good HW. He's showing serious signs of slowing though...

Who's radar? The guy has been all action but most definetly is well on the slide and as you said undersized and without a serious punch at heavyweight. I also thought Cunningham clearly beat him and that he looked just as pedestrian against Chambers, who would've beaten him as well if not for injury(imo). Saying that, he still pulls in a decent gate and isn't having any trouble getting fights so can't feel to bad for him really.

By under the radar I mean, quietly going about thing. He hasn't been publicized much since Vitali fight IMO.

I agree. I could be wrong but I think his best days are behind him.

Adamek has faced many good boxers in his career and compiled some good wins. He's put together a good legacy for this era. Not a great one though. Recently, he beat Arreola and has a win over Chambers. It's not his fault Chambers injured his hand in the fight. He lost to Steve Cunningham in his last fight. No way he won that one. That makes their series even because I had him winning the first fight Steve Cunningham. That Steve was robbed in their last fight made some people think less of Adamek. Of course, it wasn't his fault the judges got it wrong.

From what I understand, he won't be facing Pulev next. If he faces Pulev, he gets knocked out. I was never convinced of Adamek as a heavyweight. He isn't big and he doesn't have a knockout punch. He's quick of foot, but not exceptionally quick of hands. His is, however, a pretty capable boxer.

The more compelling question in my opinion is where Adamek ranks on the list of all-time Polish heavyweights/cruiserweights? Was Golota better than him in his prime? Is his cruiserweight record better than Wlodarczyk?

Adamek has courage he has moved up in weight and taken the best challenges possible and fought his best. He is no super heavyweight but he gives his all. As long as the Klit brothers are around he will not win a title but that goes for all the heavyweights out there on that score.

He should have lost to Cunninggam and Chambers prob would have won had he not hurt his arm. I don't give him a chance against the bigger heavyweights like Klits, Price, Fury etc. would like to see him fight Haye but think Haye would have too much for him to. He'd have a shot against povetkin tho

He looked a step behind vs Cunningham and fought only in spots, thought Steve won that. I like the guy and think what hes accomplished moving from lt heavy and all is impressive but really, hes arrived at where he was going. Wouldn't mind a third go with Cunningham and I think Pulev will take a mix of what Cunningham and Chambers showed and really do a number on him right now.

Agree on all counts. He should have taken the rubber match with Cunningham because I think he gets owned by Pulev
