Default Cristian Mijares vs. Victor Terrazas, Vacant WBC Super-Bantamweight Title, April 20th

Fight is in Mexico City and they're fighting for the belt Abner Mares just vacated. Pretty decent scrap and a worthy title fight, although no surprise to see 2 Mexicans compete for a vacant WBC strap. Who you got?

Gilberto Ramirez is appearing on the undercard.

This is a very good fight

Terrazas has shown he belongs around this level with wins over Cermeno & Montiel but I think Mijares is going to be too good

I feel Mijares' better technique should control things

Mijares will take this comfortably in my opinion. Terrazas is not a world class fighter an I don't think he really deserves a shot at a title. Woul have preferred to see Quigg or Frampton going for it. Quigg just beat Munroe who beat Terrazaa and Frampton stopped Martinez who is a good mark.

I'd say they'll both be trying to get a shot at Romero though

I feel Terrazas' wins over Cermeno & Montiel are just as good if not better than what Frampton & Quigg have done to this point

But I agree he didn't look world class last time out

Cermeno looked a nothing fighter against Bahktan, but no doubt a win over Montiel is impressive. It should be a good fight but I think mijares will be too good. I'd say he will stop him in the 2nd half of the fight
