No there has never been a heavyweight Scot that held the British title. Give Cornish some time. He has all the tools necessary starting with size.
Props to the seldom talked about Bert Gilroy though. Although just a middleweight he spent a lot of time fighting light heavyweights and heavyweights.
I seen him box before and wasnt impressed and hear he is a bit chinny but obviously id love to see him do well.
Like I said he's only had 13 fights and needs time to develop.
Not heard of him, only saw Ruiz the other day on the undercard of Bradley fight, he looks overweight but fast hands like Tony Tubbs.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
