Default Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s next 5 fights- in no particular order!

    1. Canelo Alvarez
    2. Manny Pacquiao
    3. Amir Khan
    4. Danny Garcia
    5. Timothy Bradley (just to see Bradley lose one!)

I don't think there would be any other selection of fighters worthy of a Mayweather fight. You may wanna throw in a Devon Alexander and/or a Lucas Matthyse, maybe even a Lamont Peterson- but, really, would you wanna see any other selection of fighters between 142 and 154 that you would wish to see Mayweather matched up against?

Nice list, however I would remove Amir Khan and include Mattheyse or Peterson and as a wildcard would replace anoyone on that list to see him in against Broner.

I was thinking Broner, but I don't think Broner would make the weigh to make a competitive fight.

Yea, and Matthesye would be a wild-card pick. But with Amir Khan's power and accuracy, you would have to think he would hit Mayweather more than anyone else on this list could ever.

I would actually pay to see a Khan vs. Mayweather fight. Truly! Chinny-Khan and all!!!

    1. Sergio Martinez - If Martinez could shrink down to 154lbs, this would be a legacy defining matchup for Mayweather. Mayweather would easily school the aged Argentine wonder, Sergio's body is worn out and he is no where near as fast or skilled as Floyd...I think Mayweather knocks him down several times enroute to a stoppage. The first time Martinez puts his hands down to try to show boat he's going to get cracked, altough its not likely to happen I would love to see this.

    2. Canelo Alvarez - He will need his legs in this one, so I think he needs to do it as soon as possble to avoid getting any more wear before facing the younger, stronger, fresher man. The Floyd that just beat Guerrero would make Canelo look just as Amatuerish.

    2. Danny Garcia - Facing the smaller fighter will give him a break after facing Canelo. Danny is strong and has a great skill set but he's not on the same planet as Floyd and would get outboxed the entire night.

    3. Mattheyse/Peterson winner - Regardless of who wins this one, the winner will be a very tough fight for Mayweather. Both fighters come to bang and are extrmely tough. Mattheyse being the small man will be the easier picking for Floyd and althogh Peterson is taller he fights in a slouched over stance and would give away his height advantage.

    5. Adrien Broner - If this were to ever happen it would be a changing of the guard fight. Broner at this point would be peaking physically and Floyd would be way old to hold this guys back. Mayweather would probably ask for a piece of all of Adrien's future PPV winnings.

Thats the dream list, what were probably going to get is:

    1. Amir Khan
    2. Devon Alexander
    3. JMM/Bradley winner
    4. Danny Garcia
    5. Manny Pacquiao

Danny or Manny may go in either order. This 2nd list isnt as fun but its more realistic for a fighter who is 36 now.

Haha who said Mayweather doesnt punch hard? There is a reason why his opponents offense gets cut in half when they face him in the ring. If he didnt hit hard people would walk right through his defense.

Martinez has been knocked down on several occassions.

Yea... that was a dream list by Onix. Martinez has stated himself that he is not coming down again in weight, and he is not going up to Super Middle to fight anyone.

If the fight won't be at 160/2, then there is no fight at all with him.

But I think we can all safely say that 3 out of the 5 WILL be a mixture of:
    1. Manny Pacqiauo
    2. Amir Khan
    3. Canelo Alvarez

We can safely say that those three will definitely be his opponents 3 out of the next 5. The other fights are toss ups.

To be fair, I don't care for a Bradley vs. Mayweather fight. If Mayweather knocks him out, then it would be expected. If Bradley wins on points- unlikely unless Arum has the judges fixed- then what do we have?

    Ya know??

If Marquez beats Bradley (Which I think he will) I think there is a strong possibility he could face Mayweather in a rematch. Now if Broner beats Malignaggi and Marquez beats Bradley I could see those two matching up and the winner getting Mayweather.

    Berto
    Alexander
    Maliggangi/Broner
    Bradley
    Khan

All easy options that pay the same as him risking it against Saul and Sergio.

Berto would be a tough sell, he's the Mayweather stepping stone not the Maywehater opponent. Floyd would love for Malignaggi to beat Broner...we all might like that for several reasons but in terms of a Mayweather VS Malignaggi fight, those two would be an awesome all access. Paulie knows how to sell a fight and him and Mayweather would make it a great event.

I was being sarcastic, these are awful fights which would be east work for Floyd. I do not care about the event and talk, Paulie is not even close to Floyd and the fight itself would be a non-event.

Oh haha. Well like I said Paulie would be a dream bout for Floyd because it would be such an easy night for him but the interest created from the All Access shows and the rest of the promotion would generate alot of PPV purchases.

I am very interested in seeing what the numbers are for last night, if they were below 1M I could see Floyd jumping right into a Canelo fight in Sept. to get his numbers up.

I can't see Mayweather fighting anyone in TopRank as long as Arum still breathes so Pac and Bradley are out for now.

    1. Alexander
    2. Alvarez
    3. Brook
    4.Garcia
    5. Martinez
Dark Horses Malignaggi, Vanes and Lara

I think its unreasonable to expect Floyd at this time in his career to go fight Alavarez who weighed 171 pounds against Trout. I mean do we just keep matching him with bigger men in their prime nearing 40 until he gets beat?
    2. Manny Pacquiao
It still make a pile of cash but its not all that meaningful. Its not even clear if Manny will continue and he will need at least one comeback fight.
    3. Amir Khan
Floyd probably goes to England for this one. Another big money fight that does not really mean anything.
    4. Danny Garcia
Why not. He's probably bigger then Floyd and seems to be the accepted man at 140. You could put Angel and Sr on the undercard.
    5. Timothy Bradley (just to see Bradley lose one!)
I don't see Floyd ever fighting Bradley and Marquez will work him anyway.

I don't think there would be any other selection of fighters worthy of a Mayweather fight. Floyds in a tough spot. No opponent is good enough so far and he's blamed for it. Yet Robinson was immortalized for doing the same thing.
