    Default Can Monroe reinvent himself ?

    Rendall Munroe scores 1st round KO in comeback fight - British Boxing News – Official UK British Boxers Website

    Can Rendall do better at super feather or lightweight or is 32 just too old for a little guy to reinvent himself? He stumbled at the last level ,but was always a good allround sound fighter making Quiggs underrated stoppage of him even more immpressive.

    I think he should have retired after he lost to Quigg.

    I don't think Quigg is world class, so he won't really achieve much from here.

    Unless he stays domestic, European at a push.

    quigg is world class and will mix it at world class sooner rather than later, i think he will be champ for a few fights at least

    monroe is also world class, perhaps just short of ever being world champ unless perhaps he fought the right man at the right time but a handful for anyone

    quiggs performanve against monroe was very good

    Quigg aint World Class yet. But at 24 definitely has potential. He is completely ducking Frampton tho which I hate in fighters so I think he is just below Frampton. He aint fought in over 6 months which isnt doing him any favours

    Quigg really does need to be more active, I havent even heard of any potential match ups either. He needs to be a lot more busy, I dont know if thats going to happen with Hatton promotions.

    Munroe is an honest fighter hope he can achieve European level at the new weight. nice to see him back. No shame in losing to Quigg.

    yeah he is, monroe went 12 rounds with nisioka whatever in japan who was considered the best in the division by miles and put up a very good fight which puts monroe at world class

    quigg battered monroe in 5 rounds in england which firmly puts quigg at world class

    @Silkeyjoe

    Bollocks! Quigg has no TV deal and he is from Bury so his fan base is limited. Frampton is filling out arenas in Belfast and his promotor has an exclusive deal with Sky. Quigg also hans't fought in 2013 so is begging for a phone call. If the fight can be made, the ball is in Frampton's court. Quigg went to the Martinez fight, and at the end Hearn said the fight could be made as long as Quigg realises he isn't the star of that show. You really think Quigg is ducking Frampton? How can he make that fight without a TV deal?

    He looked done to me when he got stopped by Quigg. Munroe said he is only coming back to boxing because he couldnt get his job back as a dustbin man.

    Move up in weight will help but british level will be as far as he goes IMO
