Thread: Billy Joe Saunders not a great fan of Eubank Jr or his Dad

I can see what he means, they are both really easy to dislike but really he should stop beating around the bush and just come out and say what he really thinks.

Billy Joe Saumders is full of shit, yeah Eubank jr fought a journeyman in his last fight on short notice but Mathew Hall was fighting at light middle last year and has been stopped 3 times

Saunders wont beat any of the top middles in Britain. He certainly wouldnt have done as well against Martinez as Murray did.

That was the first time any of us had seen that Martinez, so I'm not sure how Billy Joe would have done against that Martinez.

Billy Joe can't crack an egg, has suspect stamina and has never fought anyone even remotely close to Martin Murray's class let alone Sergio Martinez. I can confidently say, even "that" version of Martinez would have chinned him out - quick.

As for the video, that was great stuff. No fucking about there, clearly have a history. Eubank jr-vs-BJS is a cracking fight between two good prospects albeit powderpuff punchers.

Saunders is faster and more accurate the Eubank Jr and would not surprise me if he beat him on points. Jr needs to be put on his arse to see what he is really made of. DeGale is pleading for Hennessey to let him fight him and he is not even in the same weight class, so Jr is obviously not making a lot of friends

@Master, a similar thread was created ages ago about the beef between them, and I also thought he was a Super-Middle because he and his team targeted Degale. He is in fact a Middleweight though.

When Saunders starts fighting ever other week he can say something.

I believe you, as I've never seen Saunders fight. I was just wondering why any decent middleweight would have been overwhelmed by that Martinez. His legs were gone, he looked ordinary and Murray should have won, in my opinion.

Martinez looked poor but Murray was also better than most thought. I'm pretty sure Martinez wouldn't have looked so poor against many other top class middleweights. (Saunders is just a prospect)
