I thought about doing this last year when I finished uni, you should 'declare your interest', as this means they give you info about the job & what entails. They will then get you take a test (well they got me to) showing your aptitude. I did this in a Navy test, and I got the Royal Marines, which I thought maybe indicated that I'm some kind of merciless killer

The training is tough, although my boxing gave me a headstart fitness wise, however in the end I just kind of thought I don't really want to go kill people in Iraq who've done nothing to me. The reason I was interested was not because of needing a job or I was bored, more that I felt quite strongly about the War of Terror & felt that I should go to Iraq or Afghanistan to understand it better. Then I sobered up
