He punches hard enough to get people's respect, but far from a murderous puncher. Altho when ya place a body shot just right ya just have to have decent pop, let's not forget this was a huuuge step up in class for the other guy, its not like sturm went to shit he's essentially still the same fighter its just that he had a couple close ones go against him instead of for him...even with that guy he was a bit frustrating to watch refusin to throw at times and shelling up to much

Sturm's greatest claim to fame will always be for getting royally robbed against De La Hoya in De La Hoya's preparatory Middleweight fight just before the Hopkins mismatch for the World Middleweight Title helad at catch-weights...

Good result for Sturm. The Soliman fight was controversial so Geale. The only man to bet him in recent years and so im surprised he didnt get a rematch.

Before he rtires I want to see Sturm in the mix with Golovkin, Quillen and Sergio but i think he will see out his days in Germany vs bums. Hope im wrong

Golovkin was mandatory for Strum for ages and he would not fought him.

That will be what 'royally robbed against De La Hoya' was referring to then
