    Default The Ashes!

First day, 2 down, The Ball and chain Jonathan Trott and the swashbuckling Kevin Pieterson to bat for the rest of the day at least and really turn the screw.

I loves the Ashes I do

The Aussies dont look that strong. Get um under the cosh and keep them there.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

I will be paying close attention as usual, but this is the least hyped I've been for an Ashes series ever. Too used to winning now! England 4 down now.

you Brits do not want to be “easing” yourselves into the series. So much goddam buildup and tension giving me butterfliesd in my stomach that you just feel relieved to be able to get the gear on and play cricket.

Yeah not got the buzz about it has it. Im hoping we get a really good partnership going and set them something big. We are better than them in every department on paper and need to remind them of that. Dont be needed them getting their tails up.

First test, first innings, good pitch, crap bowling attack. Bowled out for under 250 in less than a day.

In recent years we always start badly though regardless of who we're playing. We'll be fine.

So its on Swan to come to the party now. The sunshine wont help Anderson and co.

Just managed to catch the highlights on five last night. The seam positio that Anderson was sending down was a thing of beauty, by comparison Finn looked like he was lobbing house bricks at the batsmen. Both of them were moving it about in the air and off the pitch. Makes you wonder if its all in the conditions.
