Default How does Kell Brook fare against Josesito Lopez?

I wouldn't be mad if Eddie hearn had Lopez in mind, lopez who is better than jones imo.

I feel like Kell wins just based of size, I'd love to see it. It would be a good payday for Lopez and exposure for Kell.

I feel kell would win but I don't think Hearn would risk it. Imagine if Brook lost? He'd have lost all attractability to the big fights! It will be a has been then springboard him to world title shot IMO

Eddie hasn't been afraid to throw his fighters in with big boys before, I hope he doesn't start to protect them now , but I can see him starting to with Kell and burns for the next couple of fights

When he gets the opportunity of a big fight he bottles it. Lopez would be a good choice for Hearn. If Brook can't cut it against Lopez there's no point investing in getting him another world title shot. I think it's going to be somebody with more name value but past it. Some former 140/7 world champ who won't cost too much. Suggestions anybody?

It seems to be the consensus that Brook isn't actually fighting a top opponent, I haven't followed his career enough to know why I guess. After Hearn announced a big fight next I just assumed either Alexander was back on, or possibly Maidana would get the fight. Neither of those guys have anything lined up, why not? Old Mosley would've made business sense but that doesn't seem likely, same with Zab Judah, who would cost more than they'd hope.

Kell would stop Lopez, it would not be much of a contest.

Alexander is linked with Khan and Maidana with Broner.

To be fair, when his promoter said "big name" he did mention it was a fight Brook was headlining in Sheffield, which narrows the list of "big names" down significantly

I just hope it's not Senchenko (the Hatton connection).

I was thinking Paulie but Paulie will be after a bigger money fight than the Brook fight is and Hearn won't pay him what he'd want to come over.

Judah took the Garcia fight for 300,000 and he fought on NBC Sports last year and I can't imagine they pay well, they could afford Zab.

Ah fair enough, heard rumours about both of those match ups hopefully they come off. Senchenko would be decent, no? Hadn't thought of that, makes big sense for Kell. The guy is damn good, he just needs to fight people with some upside.

Senchenko would make sense because of Hatton but outside of the UK not sure what it would do for him. A name that I think is possible money wise would be Keith Thurman, he got 125,000 for Zaveck and a lot of people seem to not like him and he can't get big fights. The winner of that fight would become feared.

Kell would beat Lopez easy. Lopez is not a good boxer at all.
