Maidana easy bombs away, if Rios were in Golden Boy he wouldn't even be Josesito Lopez.

Rios. I have yet to see Rios hurt to the extent that Maidana was hurt against Ortiz, Khan and 4,000 year old Morales

I put it at 147, I tend to think the Ortiz that fought Maidana would have hurt Rios at 147 if he didn't give up

Rios. I don't think he's the most skilled, but he's tough as nails and breaks his opponent's will. Maidana gets hurt by pretty much every body shot and I don't think he could out-tough Brandon.

Some of you must think very highly of Maidana but Rios would fuck him up at his own game..

This is a great matchup and I wouldnt hesitate to go all in on Rios..

My opinion of Maidana rose after Lopez I'm picturing this brutal brawl in my head and I see Rios letting Maidana hit him with vicious shots, also the heart Maidana showed vs Ortiz makes me think he'll do it.

Rios single gear sponge'ability is evaporating and its obvious after the Alvarado wars. Personally I think Maidana has shown improvement at 147 with boxing game and timing and could keep Brandon in his tracks with body shots to hand out more hurt. Especially after Manny gets done sweeping him into a dust pan.

Maidana is actually the one who's shown he hates it in the body. Khan dropped with a body shot and Alexander hurt him bad with one. If one of them goes down due to body shots, I'm guessing it's Madiana.

but look how the fucker powered out of that brutal body shot by Khan and went on to shake it off, the guy's not as iron chinned as maybe Rios but he recovers quick as fuck, also punch for punch IMO Maidana is the bigger banger, just remember how he blew up Ortiz's eye in a single round, went in clean and had it swollen shut by the end of the round, doesn't need to drop Rios to stop him

Oh no doubt he can get hit and hurt there. Rios has been dealt damage there. Rios actually is pretty concious of taking to the gut but giving up the head is a lot different from the body. I just like Maidana as a much smarter puncher with accuracy there. If Manny isn't shell shocked coming in I think he'll hurt him big time and prob stop him with it.
