Default IBF approves Thompson-Pulev... winner becomes Wlad's mandatory

Thompson might get a 3rd shot at Wlad assuming everything works out accordingly..

The europeans seem to be really high on Pulev but can he beat Thompson?

Liking Pulev. He's a nice change of pace and looks to have all the tools. Think he takes a wide dec on Thompson. If however we find ourselves looking at a Wlad v Thompson trilogy ffs I will officially disown the heavyweight division with all the scorn of a cheating ex lover

I give up with the division too, if Thompson wins.

I been pretty high on pulev but dam by the time this comes of hell have been out for close to a year, needs to get more active. Really don't wan to see wlad thompson 3, can ya say most unnecessary trilogy of all time Pulev should have the skills to work thompson to a decision

Its a good fight for a number of reasons. I'm happy Tony is getting big fights like this, he deserves them after years of being avoided like the plague. This is a very smart fight for Pulev as it will prepare him for a fighter who works with range, has a good defense, a solid jab, and uses his size effectively. If Pulev has a decent chin he should be perfectly prepared for Wladimir should he win this fight.

A trilogy with Thompson is unnecessary and I doubt Thompson even truly wants that, but it would be interesting it would be the first time Wlad has ever fought someone 3 times and in 100% of his rematches he has scored stoppages and done better than before, so a 3rd fight...could we expect a more dominant performance?

Wlad vs Pulev.....interesting bout, nobody knows or cares much for Pulev in the states yet, but I'm certain in Russia it will be a huge fight.

I think Pulev wins UD, 8 rounds to 2 I'll guess.

I think Pulev looks pretty solid, expect him to beat Thompson wide actually. This is a good fight aside from the posibility of Wlad-Thompson 3 coming out of it, but I doubt that happens in any event.

Yes and they'll probably fight in Germany, my saying of "Russia" is just saying a place in general where the fight would be a big thing what with Bulgaria being a former Communist Bloc state. But good eye on that
