Default George Groves will be stopped on cuts

It suddenly came to me the other day that this is by far the most obvious answer to how the fight will go. Groves is good but no defensive wonder, I would describe him is a reasonably illusive but against Froch I can't see him not being nailed clean every round or two.

In the past Groves has had cuts and injuries nearly stop fights with Degale and Sierra as well as all these other problems he's had which caused him to fail to get a title shot last year. He's not as bad as Alan Minter, but surely if anything is going to cause Groves to lose it's his face being shredded up...

I think anyone who puts their hard earned cash on him to win is taking a stupid risk you might as well spend it at the casino.

Groves is just going to get fully stopped by a KO, he's out of his depth here.

I think Groves will be standing but stopped by the ref. Cuts will not be an issue.

Here is a few random thoughts that I think are true.

    Froch isn't the harder puncher.
Groves would also have stopped Bute and Mack.
They had the same result vs Johnson.
    I believe DeGale beats Froch.
    Groves enemy is cuts.

I think they're all fair quotes and it does put it into a little perspective.

Don't see how DeGale beats Froch, but otherwise fair points. And why do you have me on the "wall of shame" for a sarcastic post I made. Dumb.

Degale would be stopped within 3 or 4 by Froch and I really believe that - he cannot stay away from the ropes when pressured!!!

I also think Groves doesnt stop Bute and think it would be a close fight with Bute probably coming out on top - seems all wrong for groves to me - unless groves was prepaed to risk coming through Bute's counter punches - which certainly before bute vs froch he would not have been

    I don't think it's dumb.

Froch struggles against quick defensive fighters.

    Taylor
    Ward

I don't think you'd even have to be that good at it and he'd struggle.

There's a blueprint to beating Froch, but hey I guess I notice more than the average boxing fan.

I meant dumb that you have my 115-113 Calzaghe Lacy score in your avatar lol, that post was a joke. Agree with your thoughts on this fight. But whatever.

Wow lol. Anybody who scored the calzaghe fight 115-113 clearly needs to relearn how to score a boxing match. Just saying
