He's looked better before, was a bit flat footed in this one, but he's got good combos, speed and timing.

It's all relative just proves there are a lot of shit heavyweights out there. That said Thompson is no mug and if you don't have the power to stop him then Pulev did his job. Wlad though is probably grinning from ear to ear.

Well yeah they were lesser fighters but this was his biggest test, tony has basically only lost to wlad and pulev didn't look spectacular but he won wide and that's the name of th game.

If you don't take in to account how shit Price is before their first match Thompson was picked as fodder for a novice british level fighter and that novice british level fighter was heavily favoured to beat Thompson.

The fact that Price is useless doesn't make Thompson a better fighter all of a sudden. Ne honest, if Pulev was to have any chance of being the next champ at heavy he would have stopped Thompson.

Im not sure about that part. Thompson has been built up beating Price but he took a hell of shelling against Wlad especially first time. He can take his digs.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

Uhm yeah cause thompson gets stopped left and right. I don't think pulev is gona beat wlad see thread on page two, but he'd beat fury.

Shihepo won the fight but no way he gets it. Its to close and he never got credit for the kd.
