Didn't Zab sign with gbp? Wonder who they are setting him up for.

Based on Malignaggis performance against he younger Broner, I think he breezes past Judah.

This is one of those fights that leads to a world title shot afterwards.

Im 95% sure that Zab wins. This is really a showcase fight for Zab. He's going to be real aggressive in this fight because he doesn't need to worry about Paulie's power..

It's a fair enough fight. Both fighters are on a loss and at a last chance crossroads kind of place. They both gave it their all in their losses, so it's decent enough. Malignaggi could jab Zab onto the backfoot all night, or else Zab makes him feel it with his sharpshooting. Either way, I like it.

Good fight. But is this fight at 147? Judah has a weak chin and coming back up to 147 from 140. Paulie been at 147 for a while now. I think Paulie wins this fight.

All in all, both fighters need an impressive KO for a title shot.

Good fight for the Khan-Alexander undercard... actually I guess it will top the bill in Brooklyn. Good card whatever.

This is a nothing fight for me. This doesn't get me excited about the future of the sport, or future championships.

If this fight sets up a title shot, then it's a shame for boxing. These guys had their chance and they both were champions, but have proven that today they just can't fight and beat the real top guys.

Judah got a gift decision against Matthysse. I guess the press row and the judges hadn't warmed up to how good LM was at the time and is. If there were to be a rematch between Judah and LM, LM wouldn't let it go to the judges.

So, this fight is pointless. No one is "afraid" of Paulie and his feather dusters. No one who can box and take a moderate punch that is. The fight vs. Broner exposed Broner more than it said anything about Paulie- we know Paulie can't punch. But, we didn't know Broner can't take his power up the weight divisions with him- hence, he is lobbying, trying to get back down to Lightweight, or, at least, Jr. Welter/Super-Lightweight.

Again: This fight means nothing. Garcia, MORALES (even if he decides to do it again and un-retire) Cotto, Manny, Mayweather, Alexander, Bradley, Provodnik, Rios, Marquez, Guerrero, or even Berto, ain't afraid of either of this guys if a title shot comes up or a title is up for grabs.

... at least: No one is afraid of Paulie. And, with Judah, everyone knows by now that after the 3rd or 4th round, he starts to get lazy and looks lackluster and loses on points.

Sure, he (Judah) showed up against Garcia in the first two rounds or so, but the rest of the fight was lop-sided. Yea, he showed heart in the 12th round, rocking Garcia a few times. But, where was THAT between round's 3 and 11??

Judah, at this stage of his career, once he is put in there with a guy that can 1. keep a moderate pace and 2. counter-punch and move for the first 3-4 rounds or so, they can easily win on points against him- as the elite fighters have been doing.

Sure, Judah ain't a stiff- but in elite competition, he just doesn't have it to go the entire 12 rounds and battle.

He may win against Paulie, but it doesn't mean much. jmo...

I like this fight and in some ways, it's surprising this fight wasn't made sooner. It's going to be a guaranteed full house.

Judah versus Paulie in Brooklyn is a big fight for NYC. From a boxing viewpoint, it's a good fight between two aging veteran boxers, as opposed to brawlers or punchers. It'll be a chess match, just not the highest level chess match. Paulie looked good against Broner, who is supposed to be the next great thing. Judah looked good against Garcia, same. So, I think it makes sense. On the other hand, does it do anything for the division or the respective fighters' legacy? No.

    I agree.

They both have enough in the tank to make it exciting for the brooklyn zoo.
