Some poster mentioned that Matthews would be a good test for Mitchell.. Well he was right..

This fight is getting closer..

I've always liked Kev and thought he would have done better then he has so far. I thought he'd beat Burns. What ever happened with his Mom being busted with a stack of weed?

Good fight. If Mitchell trains he'll win by KO, if he doesn't train he'll get KO'd. Apparently he's all new and fully tuned in and focused at the moment. But they used to say this when he was with his other trainers and promoter.

At his best there's no way Burns KO's him. Beat him, yeah, but not walk straight through him

i think mitchell will beat matthews even if he's not at 100%

i think its a very good fight for him mainly because matthews is in the lime light at the minute and mitchell isnt

OMFG did you guys just see that combination? Mitchell is starting to look like his old self. Combination punching is a lost art in today's boxing but Mitchell never fails to put creative combos together.. Fuckin marvelous.. He reminds me of those old school fighters from the 70s...

After Mathews tuneup, he needs a real fight..

Will you give it a rest. I have never doubted Mitchell's ability since the small hall days but you do all the other committed British fighters a disservice. Don't forget Mexicans are routinely brought over as opponents for Brits because of their ubiquity. There are great fighters from both countries. Campbell in his second pro fight is miles ahead on ability then any other Brit for years and Quigg is still improving. I am glad you love Kevin but he is not the beginning and end of British Boxing. Now get over to the fight night chat thread and enjoy the Quigg-Salinas fight.
