@IamInuit as I mentioned in the other thread you yourself posted you had this 6-4 after ten, very reasonable to score last two for marquez don't you think, thus givin him a draw. Also compubox is shit but they had this a close one as well somethin like 168 to 155 in favor of bradley, sure as hell not what you'd expect in a 10-2 fight as hbo n the ring had it.
I would actually love to see a rematch with Bradley and Pac now with out his ankle being fucked the whole fight see how it goes. I think that will be the next fight they plan on doing it makes a lot of sense.
Looks like a lot of marquez fans in here upset with the decision. Marquez himself says it's another fight he got robbed in as he always does when he loses
I didn't even think it was close and Bradley's body language suggested the same. Walking around with hands down in utter contempt for the man infront of him. I'm right in my prediction of Bradley on points but didn't think he'd win the exchanges aswel
Bradley 115-113 . Close fight but Bradley finally did enough too win
I think it was way too close a fight to claim robbery on either side. Bradley fought a great fight, utilized the jab very well and got the better of most of the exchanges IMO.
I dont even think it was close. Bradley quite comfortably
Lucky fooker ha. Sometimes I miss the meany green. Might have to come out of "retirement" soon.
Anyway, I actually sat here and did the standard replay. Made it into the 6th thus far and have rewatched...in slo mo frame by frame. What always amazes me is how it always reveals Lampley and his habit of calling fights like he is reading a comic book outloud..."Biiiggggg right hand....booooom....bang-bang-bang" haha . It was such a difference in style and approach. Marquez literally stayed in the pocket and was actually able to keep up when Bradley got off. Bradley jab was very very active, but it was also very inaccurate and he didn't bring much behind it at all. Just to break Marquez stance and leads. Bradley covered alot of realestate but blowing combinations and settling on matching jabs. I still have Marquez 4-2 here but really round 3 was very difficult. Easily 3-3. Beginning was coin flip and a staring contest.
...didn't like much the way he fought but credit to him, his face was totally unmarked, testimony to his superb defense. Another pretty boy in the making, huh.
Once in awhile, get outside in fresh air, take a deep breath & with a deep sigh, let out all the things that's bottled up inside you & be free, & you'll get a glimpse of nirvana.
I had it a draw. But I can see a case for both fighters winning. I have no problem with Bradley the win. He fought smart.
Was it just me or did the announcers, Roy Jones especially seem to mostly only call Bradley's punches? There were times when it looked like Marquez landed something good but they would give credit to something Bradley did instead.
Best holiday season ever for this mini milkdud. Early Christmas gift
A clear win for Tim... Awesome!
Beating the greatest of all time from Mexico is hands down a milestone win for Bradley and surely lines him up likewise, as one of the greatest to ever lace em up!
Time for the undefeated two to tangle up the square ring... If so, it will be an epic fight in the making.
either way i dont think either fighter looked too impressive. JMM has slowed down a bit with age and bulk. bradleys gameplan kind of worked but not great. im newer to the message board but i knew that JMM has gone downhill because in the last pac fight, even though he KO'd him, he looked a lot worse than before. bradley used speed which worked alright but JMM got the better of the exchanges just about every time.
and no way did bradleys punch at the end of the 12th make him win it. it wasnt like he rocked JMM. it was a good shot that knocked him back but he caught himself. maybe it would have been different if JMM got wobbly from the shot. JMM easily won that round and one shot at the end by bradley should have in no way won him the round.
