Adamek was a monster at that weight and took Vitali's onslaught better than most would have, IMO he would have won against Haye by UD or late TKO

Haye by ko. He pretty much dominated the division.

    Really!?

What world class fighters did he beat at cruiser?

    Mormeck...

He beat Macaranelli but thats been shown to be worth nothing

He also likes to repeat that he was the u disputed cruiser champ, bullshit! How coupd he be when there was another belt holder?

He didnt want to go anywhere near Cunningham who held the IBF title.

He also had ONeil Bell, Adamek, Braithwaite, Rothman, Davis etc

He had plenty of people to beat to "dominate" the division. Beating Mormeck who had been knocked out a couple of fights previous then fighting Macaranelli is hardly dominating the division.

His whole career has revolved around moving to heavy because him and Booth had seen Haye hurt British level heavies in sparring.

    Why?

When you "dominate" a division you beat the majority of the fighters in that division.

Like Wlad has done, or Mike Tyson did or even Lennox Lewis. Haye could never be considered as dominant in the cruiser division. Thompson beat him and there were fighters he never faced. Everyone pretty mch agrees that Macaranelli is only a good euro level fighter but not a world class level. If Haye had fought and beat Cunningham then id give him tons more credit and if he did and he won, he could actually call himself the former undisputed cruiser champ.

I could see this going either way and would have been fun to see even at heavy a few years ago. haye hits harder more than likely but adamek is tough as nails, haye ko or adamek by a grinding ko, to bad they never fought we'll never know.

Haye was a harder puncher but Adamek can certainly take a shot but if I had to choose it would be Haye by decision.

Haye shouldn't come back down. If this fight was when Haye was a Cruiser, or at least a LH, I would have given a slight edge to him. But if he has to come down to fight Adamek, then he loses.

If the fight is at HW, then Haye has the edge. Why those two have not fought yet is beyond me??

Haye was dominant at the weight.

    He stops adamek mid rounds.

Same as he would have most at CW.

Feel the same way. Very good matchup. Haye had the speed n power, but Adamek was a machine a la Jirov.
