Default Who wins? Froch vs bhop

How would this play out and would froch be too long for Hopkins ?

I'd say Hopkins because you can never safely bet against the guy. Every recent fight he has lost has been by razor thin decision.

But froch isn't an easy guy to beat, he is quite aggressive up close but just would be interesting to see how it would play out tactically !!

I think that Froch would beat him now. I didn't think much of him at first, but after several viewings, I think that froch is fairly clever in the ring, at least when I have watched him. When Hopkins was 31, I think he would win fairly easily.

If you watch froch now compared to 2004 he seems quite static though more dominant and dangerous, never quite understood why this is, he was more like prince Naseem years ago

I think Froch would, but I've been wrong so much about Hopkins...I know one thing for sure Froch would not let Hopkins get away with any sneaky dirty fighting.

In Nottingham Froch. And in America, Hopkins by majority decision.

The parallels are very obvious. The somersaults into the ring, fancy showboating, hell Prince even once had his carpet stolen after leaving it unchained, hovering in the alley behind his parents house in Sheffield.

I'd go with Hopkins. After the Pavlik fight I swore I'd never bet against that dude again.

Believe it or not Naz is Froch's hero, he's said it loads of times. Even tells stories of trying to imitate Naz in the ring and stuff.

    True he is ;-)

Tough to call this...Hopkins would make it so ugly it wouldn't be pretty to watch.

I don't know about that. In the US, I wouldn't bet on the judges getting any decision right. Even when the right guy wins, one or two of the cards are "off".

Prime vs Prime Hop wins a rough fight. Now, Hop wouldn't be able to slow the pace enough to win but would make it close n ugly. Froch is a great fighter but Hop was slicker n better all around (especially defensively) in his prime. Froch is consistently exciting to watch though!

Froch easy, would knock him out late.

PS nothing wrong with hero worshipping Naz, he was the bollox and for whatever reason joe public don't really acknowledge that. He was the best thing since Sugar Ray Leonard, and he was British (sort of) sadly missed and nothing like him coming through, yet!
