He sounds like a lighter version of Toney to me.
No Rios has showed some class in this build up. He took no part in the Ariza vs. Roach debacle. Master is right.

However, Rios is a punk still and he's in for a beating. If Pacquaio is merciful then Rios may see a lopsided decision loss. If not.... KO.

You called it. Pac was merciful.
    He shouldn't have been.
He wasn't merciful. he was cautious and interested in saving himself. Going for the kill almost got him killed vs Marquez. He didn't sit down on any punches tonight and he was real discreet in his movements. I don't suspect pac will ever KO anybody ever again.
I think that's a slight exaggeration to say he'll never stop anyone again.

I'd call it merciful and self preservation. I mean Pac spared Mosley, Margarito and Bradley before he ran into that counter from Marquez.

Good win for Pacquaio tonight, I really wanted him to stop Rios. That would have made more of a statement.

let me ask you this...In the bradley fight there were rounds where Pac coasted, took them off. He did the same tonight. It seems to me like he fights a round, then coasts, tries to steal it. But he doesn't fight a whole fight. I don't think he is sure of his ability to go 12 hard rounds- he is 35-and I think that he is catching on to the wisdom of the Mayweather approach...Win with minimal risk..

Pac done what he had to do against a human punchbag.

If pac had lost he would have to retire.

Its good he won because now he is back in the mix.

I believe if he stays away from the two Ms and any smart fighter he will keep winning.

He needed this win to propel his confidence back.

Pac comes across as a nice guy and is very open and honest so you cant really wish bad on him.

Let me ask you this: if train A leaves the train station at 2 pm traveling 250 Kilometers/hour and train B leaves the train station at 3 15 pm traveling.....lol

I saw Manny take off a lot more rounds in the Bradley fight than last night. I only saw him coast one or two rounds against Rios.

Not everyone is as tough or covers up as well as Rios. I believe Pacquaio would stop Amir Khan, Devon Alexander or Adrien Broner.

Clearly he was, haven't seen such a domination in a while. Didn't put him a way though did he? Is the power there to KO a Mayweather?
