terrible match up for tito. tito has major problems with movement. pac would be all over the ring. i would predict an easy UD for pac or maybe even a late TKO. tito does has enough power to derail pac with a few good shots but who knows if that would happen.
I agree. Tito was a powerful puncher but he was pretty one dimensional. I always felt he was overrated and movers gave him the most trouble. I'd say Pac would've boxed his ears off. I'm fully expecting people to disagree with that but it's just my opinion.
I agree 100%. Pac had the speed to keep Tito off balance all night, while lighting him up with sharp combos.
Pac all the way.
If the fight ever happened Pacquiao better not get tagged by Trinidad, cause if he couldn't take Marquez' punches no way in hell would he stand up to Trinidad's who hit harder than Margacheato, Cotto, and DLH, people are trying to make him a lot more one dimensional than he really was, cause the guy knew how to cut off the ring, he knew how to work the head and body, and knew how to finish a guy off, Pacquiao would have a good chance cause of speed and movement, but if he tried to slug it out or tried to tie up he'd get busted up and badly
At 147, I'd have to with Tito!

1,000% disagree. Pac hasn't fought anyone like Tito at 147. Trinidad had HUGE power and if Pac got blasted out by JMM then he'd really be counting sheep if he stepped in with Trinidad. Also, Pacquiao is not a slick boxer/master tactician so he wouldn't make Tito look foolish like Wright did.
I just don't see Tito having the handspeed to catch Pac with anything signifcant on a consistent basis.
Pac is a very slick boxer, not in a Winky Wright or Bhop way, but in his own way where he can dart it, throw major heat, and dart out without getting hit. Trinidad doesn't have the counter punching ability of JMM, or the foot and hand speed to really track Pac down.
I think Pac is poison for Trinidad.
I think Tito most likely knocks him out. Tito had issues with movement because he started to look to get set once he discovered his power. He was not always a stalker. Manny's rinse and repeat attack is not the kind of movement that gives Tito problems and in fact Tito fed on that. It was what finally got Manny leveled. It would not take Tito 4 fights to get it right. Timing negates speed and Tito was one of the best in the business. A great counter puncher which is overlooked because of his power.Tito was a big welter and an even bigger puncher. Even a glancing blow from him would be heavier then a flush shot from Marquez.
Wow, I had no idea the extent of the damage that the JMM KO did to people's perceptions of Pacquaio. I've never really been a big pac fan, but it makes me feel bad for the guy.
