    Sounds like some sort of oil but I think the problem is more fundamental than that.

    Biking is usually less intense on the joints.

    Bad news but this isn't the end, there is plenty you can still do.

    What about platelet injections, they grow back your cartridge over 10 weeks.

    I can ask him, I will see him in 3 months but he said all cartlidge is gone and it is bone on bone and bending in an outward direction.

    @Andre the NHS gave me this to wear which is actually good when I am on the bike and cross trainer as I feel no pain afterwards.
