Very disappointed to learn it will be Osumanu Adama. He's a game fighter and will come to fight but is completely out of his league in this one. Is Golovkin really having this much trouble getting live opponents?

I think no one wants to fight Golovkin who has a chance to win a title from the other champions. They would rather take on Barker, Quill an and Martinez. Anyone that has faced GGG recently have had balls. Murray, Strum, and the rest are running scared and hoping GGG will show some weakness.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Adama Geale would have jumped at the chance
Who are the big fights out there for him? Martinez is recovering from injury and wants Cotto. Murray's team balked at the fight. Hearn won't put Barker in with him. Sturm has already avoided him. Quillin is on a rival network. Geale said no too. I mean literally the guy has no takers. Stevens called him out and he got the fight. It's not like he is avoiding anyone. He's in a tough spot. He hasn't cleaned up the division yet but not one will fight him. Where does he go?
Golovkin is FAR beyond hype now, he is the future of his division and that future is now. All the other titlists and contenders know that he'd punch them out so they will duck him as long as they can!
Canelo would be too shy to step up to him now, Floyd will never bulk up to anything GGG would accept and vice verse. Only thing left for him now is to step up to Andre Ward.
Many would disagree with me but I like Golovkin's chances here!

I would bet on ward to win pretty easily over golovkin... I like golovkin so it would be good if I was incorrect but I would say ward by wide decision
I admit Ward is the favourite here of course. I wouldn't put money on Golovkin either but I guess it's just wishful thinking... I can't stand Ward! lol

From what I've heard, Murray will be on the undercard in Monte Carlo with a view to fighting GGG next. Barker has a mandatory vs. Sturm this Saturday and both wouldn't be ready for February. If Sturm wins there is an immediate rematch clause in London too. I would imagine you're right as there is no need to put Barker in with GGG. He wouldn't win it. My thinking with Murray is he's waiting to see if Barker wins on Saturday. If he does, Barker & Murray will likely fight next year and Murray has to take it as it would be his biggest purse and if he wins it gives him a bargaining position for future fights. His biggest problem is he can't fight in the US due to his criminal past so is having to take smaller purses as a result. Murray went to Argentina & Germany for World title fights. He wouldn't run from GGG. If Barker loses on Saturday, I'd expect Murray will fight Golovkin next year.
Murray will get his head punched in!!

GGG ducking the SMW division... why is he milking shit in a division filled with nobodies.
If he's not going to clamour for a QUillin fight, he has no business remaining at 160..
George Groves would fuck his shit up proper
Triple G needs to fight better opposition
It's a little hard to fight better opposition when the champs of the division are guarding their belt.
They should be FORCED to fight him or hand over their belts!

Saul Alvarez IS good but got overrated, that's apparent now. Adrien Broner is another future high potential but right now is overrated.
But I've thought of Golovkin as living up to his hype... He really is good now!
