You'd have to wait until next year and a whole load of stuff can happen between then to scupper the fight for good.

He's not even mentioned the fact that Chavez jr is fighting Vera in March so how can it be "nailed on." If that's the case expect Chavez jr to pull out of the Vera fight in the next few weeks.

Carl will get back some of his "hero" status when they announce he's gave up his dream Vegas fight to rematch Groves for the fans.

Why not Summer? No footy due to world cup in Brazil and Wembleys got a roof now.

Own up You've got 1 direction tickets for the summer Wembley gig and dont wanna see the dates changed?

When did Wembley get a roof? Fuck me I missed that

However, if the fight doesn't happen next there's a big chance it never happens. It can't get hotter than it is now. And there's no guarantee either will win their next fight. A loss it's fucked. No "world" title it's fucked.

Who the fuck are 1 direction?

Big fucking thing that retracts when its wet... similar to Ross tounge in Furys asshole id imagine.

We still got the IBF descision to come
Too and I dont think for a second Froch would drop his belt to swerve Groves.
He look a complete mug in the nations eyes..I know plenty of fighters have done it but with all the history/controversy of the first fight I just cant see Froch doing it.

As long as we dont get a Warren extravaganza like Haye v Chisora at upton park with the "School Fete" plastic ring "roof"

Millenium Stadium must be on the shortlist too depending on 1 Directions uk tour dates.

Froch is gonna get slaughtered for "ducking" Groves whether he has that IBF belt or not. It's really not a big deal, fighters get stripped all the time, Groves is pushing it because he'd get a shot at the vacant title, which is obviously a strong 2nd option for him if the rematch falls through.

That Wembley roof doesn't fully close though, right? You can't have a boxing event, outside of the summer, in an open stadium because everyone would be freezing their bollocks off.

Your right actually it doesn't close fully..just covers all the seating areas.

Its do-able though... Lewis v Bruno was pissing down and that worked ok.

So it all hinges on an Indian summer and 1 Direction then.

Groves got shafted last time as Booth took a big slice.

Groves needs to be careful he doesn't
    Price himself out of this.

Who the fuck is helping him negotiate a deal anyway?

Im pretty sure he's alone in all this.

He's was still contracted to be in the corner that night even though Groves jumped ship so still collected his fee.

Booth was his manager (25% cut) not just his trainer.

Chavez Vera 2 hasn't even had its first postponement yet so if he does fight Groves after the Chavez fight summer 2015 would probably be the earliest date he could fight Groves.

Would love to see the deal they offered Groves, he needs a promoter/manager asap surely to help him negotiate all this.

Anyone know if he's been helped out or is he alone?

He might as well do it himself. I'm sure he can get within 25% of what anybody else could get for him for the Froch fight. He wants to phone the lawyer that Ricky Hatton used to do his negotiation. No percentage just a flat fee, maybe ten or fifteen grand or so. Gareth somebody or other. Hatton wasn't daft with money.
