I was suggesting the powers that be didn't like the refereeing, not Loma.
Arum is a good judge of boxing talent, some would say better than most. He also has the advantage of meeting with these fighters in person. If he thinks he sees something in Loma that says champion now, He should give him another chance to prove it.
I don't think Loma is taking the big reputation hit here anyway, Arum is the one coming off badly in my opinion. If Loma lost to another champion in his third pro fight, I still don't think it's hurts him in the long run.
Arum believes in the kid and he has the money and power to do something about it. To me, it's very interesting as I haven't seen anything like it before in boxing.
