What has Chavez done thats impressed you? The best guy hes beat is Andy Lee and he didnt look particularly good doing so. And then beating Joe Blow Vera (a blown up middleweight) twice gets you a number 1 spot at super middle? Hes a true deserving champion eh.

That is unfair on De Gale.

I want GGG to face Junior because I sincerely believe he would stop Chavez.

How anyone can think that Chavez Jr is better then GGG just show how much they know about boxing. Lee was he's best fight and he didn't start out looking good in that one either. Instead of fighting smaller guys he should go for people at he's own weight.

This is a fun fight. No doubt about it. However, I would have preferred to see GGG face Martinez if Martinez beats Cotto. If it were up to me, beat Geale/Lee and face Martinez at the end of the year and then if he wins, move up for Junior or Ward.

If GGG beat Sergio he would stay and unify the titles and defend them a couple of times first before moving up would be more realistic.

Its a real shame. I dont like when fighters move up and down in weight. I prefer them to move up for good. That being said its a shame that the big fights arent being made at middleweight. Unless you are part of the negotiating team we dont know why these fights are not being made. but to most it appears as if GGG is being avoided (Martinez fighting Cotto), Sturm just having no interest in fighting him, Geale wanting his "fans" to be able to watch him. But it seems GGG is being forced to move up in weight to get a decent payday.

Sturm has always avoided him which I hate. I think Segio will fight him after Cotto, even he has some pride.

I'm sure it would be a fun fight, don't see how Jr wins it or anything. There is some sparring footage of the two of them, not sure how old it is. Even there GGG is pretty well having his way, and it probably flatters Chavez a good deal.

I'd rather see GGG hold out at 160 for one of the other champs and then wait for a chance to fight someone who isn't mediocre if he wants to move up, but you can't blame him for taking this payday.
