Just read Top Rank is waiting Marquez's answer today for this fight. Alvarado is not a great outside boxer and Marquez even at his slow age should be take Alvarado out.

I agree with you but I think Marquez should retire.
He doesn't need the money and he is a Mexican hero. With the exception of Hopkins, everybody gets old. I'm not a big Marquez fan but I don't want to see him beat up.

They won't fight each other... But if they do Provodnikov will destroy the 41 year old Marquez.

Marquez is/was the better fighter but he's not gonna survive that war.

Marquez v Prov is a better fight but Arum wants JMM to win so he can set up a 5th fight.

Marquez should have retired after Pac IV

Alvarado, just like kermit cintron, had got into the game very late after making a transition from wrestling to boxing.. that's why when u see fighters like them, boxing is second nature as their moves dont come instinctively..

Marquez has been doing this shit since he was a lil kid and shit. He is a natural fighter, a motherfukin throwback technician and alvarado is going to get taught a boxing lesson..

I wish Marquez would retire; it will really hurt me to see him getting kod by guys he would once have beaten easily. He lost to Bradley and that should never have happened. I am afraid he might be one of those guys that needs to be convinced before he quits.

Who says Marquez would war? Just because Bradley was stupid to fight that way...doesn't mean a fighter as smart and skilled as Marquez would. Yes...Marquez is older. But i don't see Provo having an easy fight in any shape or form.
