I noticed this.
Shame.
True fan stays win or loose.
Thay will be back once he beat Bradley and is back to his best.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Along with a World champ comes a crowd with national pride, they're different fan than the regular fight fan. These are the ones who say 'We' when talking of their champs work,so when the champ losses they take it personally cause they been telling us how great 'they' are.
This just proves my theory that many filipinos are a fan of manny pacquaio, but not necessarily a fan of Boxing.. I always had this mind set during my days at esb when I owned a bunch of trollin ass pactards..
Wankers happen in every country though, the flag wavers are the loudest ones, they come out of the wood work when theres a winner on the world stage pumping up their own bike tyres in front of everyone, then they all run back under cover when its over.
The rest of us stay and watch what we like, no flags or dick size required.

Haha that's true.. but it just seems like Philipines have more flag wavers than others from what ive seen on various boxing forums..
There was this sports bar that i used to visit for all the fights and id see the same middle aged Filipino man always by himself. I started chatting it up one day and got to know him over time.. now I remember him as a hardcore boxing guy.. he knew a lot..
They are no different than Mexican fans , Puerto Rican fans etc. , if a country man loses a big fights they are all bitching at each other.
I am an Englishman but personally I cheer for who I want , doesn't matter where they are from , I wont always support a guy because he is English.
Remember reality is an illusion caused by a lack of alcohol .
I left the forum because I remember this place being mostly about discussing and debating boxing. It gradually started to turn. Every little criticism or argument instantly started an online fight and it was just pathetic to see unfold. FYI, a couple Filipino posters were OD when it came to Pacquiao and it did leave a bitter taste in my mouth being a Filipino who has watched boxing since before Pacquiao's time.
I keep in touch with all the guys I care about from this forum on facebook and we have some great discussions through there so I pretty much don't find the need to have to come in here anymore. I still pop my head in every now and then but definitely not to the obsessive level I used to nor do I post anymore.
In my case, I think I stopped being a regular on here before Pac went night, night.

I like fighters from all country's, I'm not a fair weather fan and I like boxing as there is a good
cross section of Champions at different weights.
