Thread: So I finally watch the Lomachenko fight

1st of all I scored it level but would have no problem with a close decision either way.

2nd of all the refereeing was absolutely shocking. I didn't mind the low blows too much until the last round or the holding until the last round but he clearly influenced this fight.

The weight advantage on the night was also ridiculous and Lomas team should have made sure he couldn't be over a certain weight on the day.

In saying that I don't think Loma can blame anyone but himself. His failure to let his hands go cost him too many rounds. He should have won that fight easily but just didn't throw enough.

Disheartening for Loma fans.... but this IS the professional league. Have to cover all of your bases- from management, to promotions, to judging, to officiating, to dressing room accouterments, to quality sparring... to everything. He fought a hell of a fight, but lost the fight due to the fact that these little things we take for granted that the pro's do and have professional team members that cover all of their bases do for them, were missed by him and his team.

The person to blame here was Arum. I guess the old guy was slipping!!!

Lomachenko would win an immediate rematch
