    Default Fury -v- Chisora 2 - 26/07/14 in Manchester

The rematch between Fury & Chisora has just been announced.

It's set for 26th July 2014 at the Phones4u Arena in Manchester & the winner is guaranteed a title shot according to Mr Warren.

Although I don't rate either of them, it's an intriguing contest.

Chisora has stopped doing his training in Burger King and Greggs, and as a consequence, he has improved.

Fury, on the other hand, doesn't really appear to have improved since they first fought & thanks to David Haye, he's been idle of a lot of the last 18 months.

Neither can punch & neither have the best stamina either, so it's hard to call for me.

Winner gets Wlad. Decent fight and am looking forward to it. I think Fury will win a decision but should be a close fight

    Great match, even contest...

I'll go with Chisora for the upset! I think he's had an unlucky run.

Honestly whilst Haye stalling Fury's career is true, he did him a favour really by allowing him to hold onto his unbeaten marketability a little longer. Haye would have beaten Fury so badly and so easily that he probably would never have returned to boxing truth be told.

Chisora did good against Fury 1st time and imo beat Helenius in what was a blind robbery!!

to be fair, for all his bad points, I reckon Frank Warren has worked a miracle turning this into a final eliminator for the World title. Chisora's already had a chance, fought the fight of his life and still got hammered. As for Fury, what does it prove beating Chisora? that's not good enough to secure a shot in my book, although that's not this fault.
it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if the winner gets messed about by Klitschko and doesn't actually get the shot. my prediction is Fury to win just because he's not as bad as Chisora!
the good news is that we'll have all these hilarious press conferences with Fury to look forward to! gonna be way more entertaining than the actual fight. Infact make the press conferences PPV and the fight free!

To be honest Chisora is probably better then anyone, and apart from Arreola hes better then anyone else on Stivernes rec. I dont see anyone else who is really more deservin ghten the winner of this fight to be honest.

We're obviously miles apart in our opinions, but I reckon ALL of the following guys would beat Chisora.
Pulev,Glazkov, Wilder, Stiverne, Arreola, Povetkin (yeah, he's had a shot before, but so has Chisora), Thompson, Jennings, Perez, Teper, Solis, Chagaev, Price, Hughie Fury and Joshua!

Chisora's punch resistance was his main asset which I think's been eroded after his defeats and being caught with some silly shots, I'm going for Tyson by a KO.

I would not call Chisora fat. He is a little chubby which for a boxer Chisora's height against the power of punches he must today contend with is ideal.

Were Chisora to come in leaner, he would be less effective (i.e. Amongst other things he would be more easily KO'd)

I find it amusing how you can defend his distant ancestor Joe Frazier who was equally slovenly yet like to poke fun at his modern era counterpart.

I like Chisora for all his inability to hurt opponents, he works and hard and 9/10 comes to fight. Comparisons between him and the late great Joe Frazier though and throwing about insults like "slovenly" just undermines your argument. Frazier was a class fighter with more dignity in his little toe than you can muster up for a paragraph. Go and wash your mouth out.

The winner gets Wlad stuff is nonsense. Wlad is getting rid of the WBO no.1 in his next fight, which means he can then have a voluntary and whatnot, so whoever becomes no.1 in July will have to wait until he comes back round to them. Everyone knows he's desperate to get that WBC belt, plus he has to keep the other gangs sweet.
