Thread: Antonio DeMarco wants Brandon Rios

Demarco doesn't want to fight provodnikov because they have the same trainer which is understandable.

He wants a piece of rios and that would be a pretty good fight.

Anyone interested?

I'd like to see that fight, toss up in my opinion but I lean toward Rios. Rios is no Valero or have the speed of Broner but he is durable and keeps coming.
What do you think?

Rios would wear DeMarco down and take him out would be a nice level opponent for Rios to get back in the win column with

Looks like this fight is almost done and it will be at a CW bout of 143..

BeenKOed, I agree it's pretty much a toss up and it's really up to DeMarco . If he boxes and keeps rios at the end of his jab from the outside, he can win. But dude loves to bang too much and that could be his downfall..

Roach is training him though and he knows exactly what to do. He plans to use the pac-rios blueprint and have Demarco box in there..

Btw, Demarco and Cotto will be sparring each other at the wildcard.

Rios is damaged good imo and demarco can beat this guy.

DeMarco can do better, he is just the foil here. He still has a small upside..Rios is 15 minutes running on 30. Rios making a 'catch weight' 143 . Demarco should just plan on how he's going to spend that 10 percent penalty right now
