Well of course if ur a 6"1 massive WW who got ktfo by an old, one handed puncher in bailey on the biggest night of your career..

Can he be a factor in the current ww division?

All he has to do is work at it.... he can get a fight.... being ko'd by Bailey, in the late rounds, ain't something to be ashamed about. You got ko'd by one of the greatest ko artists in the last 15 years.

If your promoter invests so much into selling you as the next big thing, you can't be getting knocked out by old, one trick ponies like bailey.

Remember when cotto was a prospect and he faced a much younger bailey? He did his job without breaking a sweat.

That's the difference between real talents and hypejobs like jones.

Jones have everything to be ahsamed of. I wouldn't even return his calls if I was top rank.

I like Mike but reading that someone needs to smack him with a sock full of rocks. Sounds like he had offers and oppurtunity but is over pricing himself off of a career defining KO loss . "I need to bite the bullet and take a fiight"...you didn't bite the bullet, the bullet bit you first Mike. He should be happy to ride some undercard, rebuild to just get active for the sum of hotel fees and a Budget rent a car. He is doing it backwards. Hope it gets in there soon.

Typical coming from one of todays spoiled prospects. This dude talking about training fees and shit after all the investment top rank blew cuz of his ass. Smh

I thinlk you are right. He's expecting too much with these unrealistic demands.

He needs to get to a gym and train himself if he has to just as the old school fighters did.

Talkin about training fees and allowances and shit lol. He probably need some stripper money or drugs or someshit.

Victor ortiz is better than mike jones.

Should be happy he's healthy and can still box after that hellacious uppercut he ate from Randall Bailey.

I honestly thought that retired him due to this length of inactivity.

Good luck to Jones he's talented n seems like a nice kid.

Sounds a bit like pavlik a while back and we know how all that went. Dude never was that impressive and failed to make it to the top, pavlik got there albeit very briefly, dude should fight and stay busy the paydays will come again

At least Pavlik was a world champ. This guy got KTFO brutally by Bailey and then disappeared for 2 years. What did he think was going to happen, besides sliding into obscurity? Take the small fights for shit money, work your way back up. He doesn't seem to realize he's damaged goods right now.
