Default Fighters that should officially anounce retirement- not age specific.

    1. Paulie Mallinaggi. It's over. You know it. You had a great run. But the type of fights you would receive now, and expect to win, won't be any fight over $100k- if over $50k. Thank you, Paulie.

    2. Enzo Maccarinelli. Why is this walking tragedy still fighting? It's sad to see him put himself through all of this, only to be beaten to near death EVERY single trip. Enzo, before you get yourself REALLY hurt, please, just hang em up. Train.

    3. Victor Ortiz. It was over after the Jossesito Lopez beat down, but we failed to buy out of Ortiz's hype and previous performances and the performances we were willing to give him a pass on. But, he just does not have it at this level anymore. He is not there. In fact, he is a bigger case for early retirement than Paulie is now that Paulie has been a bit past the hill. Hang em up.

    4. Monte Barrett. Can someone PLEASE hold a benefit for him if he needs money that bad? It can't be that bad Monte. Can't be??!!?

    5. Danny Williams. So, so, soooooo sad. I know why he's fighting, but it's soooo sad. His daughter had better be there for him when he is an invalid. They had better.

I agree most of those guys should hang em up especially Enzo.. seriously something might happen to that guy.. knock om wood..

But I believe Ortiz can fight on if he still has the desire. Physically, he's fine man, but he needs to get his mind right ..

If Ortiz can get back that fire, he can still compete with anybody not named Floyd..

Enzo s a walking fatality waiting to happen. And if he keep fighting, and when something does happen, aaaallllll of the adults in the game and directly involved in his last fight will live with that on their minds and be held responsible for letting that man enter into the ring. It's that bad and we can all see it. Someone stop him before he hurts himself.

Ortiz's mind isn't there. Don't you get it? He's a goner. Gone. .lololol.....

You may be right but ortiz hasnt taken much punishment and dude is still young. He says he's going to fight on and as a fan of ortiz, im not ready to give up on him just yet..

Everybody deserves chances and im a believer.. when you put your mind into it, anything is possible.

If ortiz can find that hunger, he can fight.. put it this way, if he were to fight adrien broner today, I would say that's a even fight...

    Ortiz is better than broner..

Ortiz peaked at the Mayweather fight. He has nothing left. Trust me. We have seen all we need to see from Ortiz. He is no Bernard Hopkins that can keep re-inventing himself and changing to suit fights.... we have seen all we need to see. He is beatable by the average.

Frans Botha is another one. Lost 7 of his last 8. He was rumored to fight Danny Williams in Dubai next month.

Hard to disagree with anyone on that list but I think the most urgent ones are Enzo and Danny Williams, who are going to end up with Quarry syndrome.

All good names, but there must be so many guys, even ex contenders who are in worst spots than most of those guys, barring Danny Williams who is a sad case like that. Antwun Echols was in similar shape a couple of years ago, had a whole string of KO losses, could still be fighting. Vivian Harris I remember looking really dire in a stoppage loss a few years back. A lot of guys never make the big money, perhaps don't get stopped badly in any big fights and just go under the radar losing to whoever over and over again. It's tough to tell a guy he can't make a living when that's all he knows and so much damage may have already been done etc, I guess

Echols is about the worst I've seen. He used to be something. A long time ago.

Holyfield should have retired after getting destroyed by James Toney 10 or 11 years ago.

Holyfield nearly beat Valuev and in fact gave Haye the blue print to beat him.

Valuev was literally the biggest bum in boxing history.

Even John Ruiz whipped him and got robbed.
