Bilbo obviously played an important role in trying to help kill the dragon Smaug, and hobbits have a natural inclination to enjoy good food and drink. Maybe a bit tenuous, but I'm sticking with it.

I think St George Groves will be happy now that Dirrill lost the title. Maybe a bit tenuous, but I'm sticking with it.

If they do that though, they'll have to do the same for St David, St Andrew and whoever the patron saint of Northern Ireland is... St Ian Paisley?
