Further proof Pacquiao does not want the Mayweather fight. Never did. He pretty much just put the final nail in the coffin of that fight ever happening

Apparently Manny is a loyal guy who believes in and trusts Arum.

If he extends it the mayweather fight will never happen and he knows it. Why not fight mayweather then sign back up to top rank. I hope this doesn't happen if it does it will be mannys fault this fight didn't happen

Manny does strike me as the loyal type and I can't hate on that but shit, business should come first.

Its a mixture of loyalty and ignorance.

Pacquiao must be a promoters dream. Maybe at this point it's a bit late for him to jump ship, but we know how this goes from here. Arum is already talking about another Marquez fight, and if Alvarado wins they just make that fight sense he is with Arum as well. If Manny had anyone who was remotely concerned about his best interests, he wouldn't be getting in the ring for a fifth freaking time with Marquez, it's insane. He'll not only never fight Floyd, he couldn't even face Thurman or Porter, Brook, etc. Arum doesn't have a single welterweight worth a damn aside from Manny and Bradley, unless I'm wrong?

That's exactly what Kneeguel did. He fought Floyd after his contract was up then he signed with arum after.

If you believe the loyal and trusting angle life must be sunshine and rainbows for you. Bob has dirt on Manny and that is 100% clear as glass. Pac does his own promotions through MP Promotions, he knows what cards make. He knows Bob robs him. You don't give up over 27% of your money for loyalty if it's completely unnecessary and Pac doesn't need Bob unless Bob has dirt. Think back to the email "what would happen if Manny failed a test? Could it be kept a secret?" Is that connected? Or is Manny indeed trying to avoid taxes he owes the Philippines ? IDK what his motivation is but it isn't loyalty and that is obvious. He could be loyal and work with TR as a free agent at a 10-15% rate. But he chooses to give his money away? No, this picture people paint that Manny is the dumbest person ever is far too convenient and doesn't fit with his extraordinary successes in diverse fields.

Good observation by Ron. I was starting to think the same thing that there could be something going on behind the scenes that we don't know about because I mean pac would have to be downright foolish to stay with arum.

Maybe pac is in debt with arum. He might have borrowed money and arum made him sign some shit in return.

Pacquiao: That's it Bob. i'm tired of you robbing me. My contract is up. I'm out of here

Arum: First of all, don't you ever speak without permission again. And did you just call me Bob? Who the fuck do you think you're talking to, boy? You address me as Daddy. And you're not going anywhere

Pacquiao: No I will not call you daddy. I'm big boy. And I want Mayweather fight. And you in the way of it

Arum: You better thank God I'm in the way of it. Mayweather would whip your fucking ass. Not even your moms voodoo spells would help you

Pacquiao: Me no care. I'm tired of you making double what I make every time I fight

Arum: Double? Stupid muthafukka. I make triple what you make every time you fight. And your not going anywhere. I got dirt on you.

Pacquiao: Me don't do that stuff no more. It'll just be your word against mine. And me more popular than you:

Arum: Than I'll go to the IRS. And I guarantee they'll rob you worse than I been. Now sign this fucking contract

Pacquiao: Me no care. Me got lot of fans. They'll never let me go broke. They love me

Arum: We'll see how much they love you when these the pictures of what happened in China get out. You remember China, right? You. Them little boys. Orlando Cruz. All them Germen Sheppard sandwiches. Didn't think I knew about that, huh muthafuuka?

Pacquiao: Me just playing, daddy. I'll sign

Bob's got Pac pussy whipped apparently.

When you get up to the level of a Mayweather or Pacquaio, you don't need a promoter. Be your own boss and work as a free agent with a promotion company like Mayweather does, then you can keep most of your money.

Got a feeling that things arent going to end well for pacman. Looks like pac might be the one going broke after boxing, not floyd..

Pac gets knocked out again by marquez, retires, and turns broke..

Like a few have already said, it has to be some dirt that Arum has on him.

It might be PEDS (there could easily be records of test results kept safely in Arums drawer, but we'll never know) and/or pending money issues that Pac would want to avoid with Arum's influence.

He comes from an uneducated background but he can't be that dumb. Even if he did want to avoid Floyd, being a free agent he could just ask for 50% of a purse and PPV knowing Floyd would NEVER accept it.

Just think of all the money he could make facing Thurman, Porter, Brook... What a pity.

Bob Arum for SURE has PED dirt on Pacquiao.

Remember during the first negotiations for Floyd/Pac? When Pac's team sent two emails to Floyd in regards to the drug testing? One asked what the penalty for testing positive would be, and the other asked if it could be kept a secret "for the good of boxing" if Pac tested positive. This was verified by a few people who were there and actually saw the email.

It's obvious to anyone with a brain that Pac was using PEDs, but if it were to be CONFIRMED OFFICIALLY by a guy in the know like Bob Arum, Pac's stock and legacy would take a nose dive.
