Me and the GF are heading over there in October, and we're wondering what the real shit to see is over there, and I'm wondering if I can see any bare knuckle gypsy fights.

I have taken the train from London via Paris to Amsterdam and it is quite a scenic route but flying is nearly always cheaper. Off the top of my head @Silkeyjoe is from Ireland and there is a Pro boxer who posts here sometimes from the Emerald Isle too. There are sure to be more. The obvious tourists things to see are the Giants causeway and the Joyce tour of Dublin etc but as long as you are up for the craic there is plenty of fun to be had all over Ireland. I have many Irish friends here and over there, most are musicians and if you like live music you will be spoilt for choice. Be prepared for plenty of Rain (Ireland and the UK) and be sure to try the local tipple whether that be a pint of the black stuff or a local Ale and you should be grand.

What dates you coming over? The main attraction is the pubs and theres plenty of them. If your looking for scenic shit id head over to the west coast. Can probably do a tour down the west coast whci would be great crack if you get the weather.
Not until October. 11th to the 25th it looks like.
@Silkeyjoe be a mate and meet Beanflicker and give him a bare knuckle fight will you?

Is Ireland anything like this 13 minute short film, Yu Ming is Ainm Dom ?
If I was over there too, I would wear a track suit to hide my McDonalds gut, a gold chain to take your eyes off my double chin and I'd walk around the two of you saying "Wold ya joost shake harnds an b dun would ya? Coomon lahds it wuz a good fight just shake hands come on..

U should delay your trip to November when Ireland are playing Scotland in Scotland. AN Ireland away match is an experience to behold.
@Silkeyjoe has watched IP Man so he may be able to counter your moves.
