Watch what Roy Jones did to Reggie Johnson. Just shut him down from the get go.
Yeah, people who just look at stats and names and don't watch a lot of boxing sleep on a guy like Reggie Johnson. Reggie also beat Lamar Parks, who was poised to do big things in boxing before getting HIV and got robbed twice against Castro.

Also IMO beat and got robbed vs Tarver, even though he was old and past his best days.

He doesn't stink as much as Calzhage and not nearly as overrated.

At least he could punch instead of slap.
The village called. They want their idiot back.

I'm starting to think Calzaghe banged your sister. Either that or you are just the typical troll here once or more before with an agenda hiding behind a proxy of sorts so the Mods cant match the ISP. By slap do you mean like this?

    Or this?

Looks like ole slappy slaps pretty hard. Send Kessler a tweet and ask him how charmin soft it is.

So you tell me smart guy as to why Joe changed much of his direction, punch selection and timing?

    Actually don't bother.

Getting back to the authors question, the Hall has no criteria really. That is, no written one. Its subjective and bias in many cases. Some days all you need is a title and at other times you need more or you don't need one at all.

Why is Kid Azteca not in there?

    or,

    Harry Jeffra
    Tippy Larkin
    Esteban Dejesus
    Bert Lytell
    Jack Chase
    Jackie Patterson
    Willie Joyce
    Rafael Herrera
    Ernesto Marcel
    Cocoa Kid
    Jeff Clark
    Lou Salica
    Benny Briscoe?

    Or Davey Moore

Lots of this has to do with politics. Bert Sugar? WTF. Juicer Stallone? WTF. The Hall is full of shite.

Collins is very underrated and isn't given the recognition he deserves.

He was a real warrior who prevailed in situations where he was expected to lose.

Listen son, in the late 90s, Calzaghe used to knock the $#!t out of people, where do you think the 32 KOs came from?!

You're just some young $#!t-snap Johnny-Come-Lately who saw maybe his last 5 fights and jumped to conclusions like a hysterical woman.

The dude's hands went bad on him, and he deserves all the credit for successfully changing up his style and finding another way to get the job done at the World Class level.

Steve was tough, durable and decent boxer early in his career but he was fortunate to meet Benn and Eubanks at the end of their career. He barely beat Eubanks the first time. He was nor special enough to be ranked HOF.

Steve's got a bit of an attitude too. I saw that British special where they got a bunch of the 168lbers to sit down for an interview (Collins, Calzaghe, Eubank, Roy Jones, ect) and he came off as a bit of a cocky dick. Eubank also openly accused him of ducking Calzaghe.
