GGG is the big money fight for Cotto now, and there is no way Floyd is going anywhere near 160lb and no way Cotto is dropping down again. Cotto V Golovkin is the fight everyone wants to see, i reckon we'll all get our wish.

I don't see Floyd fighting Cotto again. What's the point, I don't see it as a big money fight.
I think Maidana vs Mayweather would be huge, and I'd pay even more to see Maidana kick the shit out of Broner again. Lol. After the sex tape thing he needs another spanking.

Cuz it was a clear-cut win for Floyd. And it would be a clear-cut win for Floyd if they rematch.

Weight wont be an issue for Floyd against Cotto. Floyd can weigh the same as he did the first time. Cotto weighed 155 for Martinez and looked no bigger the night of the fight then he did with Floyd.
The money is with Floyd or Alvarez. They are not going near 3G.

Cotto v Floyd could happen but Mayweather will fight in September and I think Cotto in December so schedules will meet in May. I think Cotto may take on Saul in December. I have a feeling Cotto may lose that, so it could be a Alaverez and Floyd remtach.

I don't give a shit about how much money it generates, I don't get any of it in my pocket, so don't really get why that becomes a selling point, Chavez sells more PPV's than Canelo and the dude is a piece of shit in and out of the ring, Canelo is a more legit fighter than Jr. but well it's not opinion just fact that Cotto already gave Mayweather a tougher fight and after seeing the Maidana fight would do so again if given the chance

Do you know Mayweather? He's not looking for the toughest fight he wants what'd make him the most money without fighting Pacquiao. Which would be Canelo again if he beats Cotto.

The Mayweather camp is already setting the premise for a Cotto fight. Stipid people will buy into it, but for it to be a big money fight Cotto needs to have a defense. Canelo is a big money fight for Cotto so it makes logical sense. Mayweather will have a hard time getting a catchweigh with either winner. I think Canelo has a much better chance if he's not drained.

This would be a brilliant move for Floyd. He likely wins again and can add the middleweight crown to his list of achievements without even having to fight a true middleweight. Cotto acquitted himself well against Floyd last time so this is a legit rematch even if it isn't really a legit middleweight fight.

You can't ignore money if you're going to be realistic but in these two cases I think it makes sense both ways.

Obviously a Cotto vs Canelo fight would make huge money because of the Porto Rico-Mexico rivalry. And he (Cotto) would have a chance of winning this one I think. Mayweather beat them both already so let's forget Floyd.

As for Floyd, a Maidana rematch would generate more money than with Cotto or Canelo -and make more sense too- because quite a few people perceived that it was a pretty close fight. And so did Maidana, though not me.
PPV numbers were crap the first time round but the second time should be totally different because of the expectations on Maidana.
