Lol, half of the top guys in boxing are managed/promoted by Haymon, that doesn't mean anything. How can you compare Danny Garcia to Deontay Wilder on another note, are you trolling here? Garcia is younger than Wilder and has been in really tough for his last half dozen fights at least, they have nothing in common. What's a Salka type of opponent anyways?
Salka isn't even ranked in the top 30 of any organization, period. He's a bum. And his last fight against Herrera was supposed to be an easy showcase fight to try to draw in the Rican fans, except Haymon didn't anticipate that it looked like Garcia lost the fight according to many fans. Garcia should have rematched Matthysse, not take a supposedly "easy" fight against Herrera, that backfired significantly. Garcia's last dozen fights are fighting a shot Zab Judah and shot Erik Morales 2 times and chinny Khan. Not exactly tough tests. The only tough one was Matthysse and that was a mandatory.

    Maybe it's you that's trolling.
    Hating on al Haymon.

If Al were White you'd be on your knees..typical.

Just say "I didn't know Herrera was good". People would respect your ignorance more than this drivel. This is so wrong on so many levels. That's why people think it's trolling.

I feel like Korobov has had two careers, he's been marinating too long. Might be in the minority but really think Quillin is showing a respectable backfoot and accuracy lately. The trinket organization sounds insistent on this happening.

Korobov always been a hot and cold fighter... he was the flavour of the month for a while too earlier in his career. I always thought he was a slow pace puncher... so a busy durable fighter can beat him. But Edwards also exposed a soso chin.

Quillin is a hot and cold fighter, but not fight to fight... he is in hot and cold during the same fight... started with miranda... and extended to many other performances where he starts brilliantly well looking like a Norris... but then looks vulnerable, lacks stamina and shows a shaky chin.
Yeh I get that in a way but frankly today. I like a guy rattled early in career and see how he bounces back and adjusts, similar to Miranda fight. His power is consistent from beginning to end but he does hit cruise control...like last fight...when you see everything to indicate he can-should shift gears into high. What I saw there was a guy thinking about tomorrow and yes dominating but knowing he was just in a stay busy, look good today...work on things and look great tomorrow type fight. But that is a very dangerous habit and a statement on how much promotion and self need to get in there and make a major fight or get rusty and not even know it. His stamina is fine, frankly he looks board at times. If watching a borderline jr middle thought to be in his twilight come in and dominate "the" middleweight champion doesn't light a fire under GBPs arse to force showdowns, I don't know what will.

Bulldog is correct that Herrera and Salka were picked as easy fights for Garcia. Same goes for Morales the second time. By the way, why did he give Morales a second shot but not Herrera? Herrera gave him more grief.

Matthysse was a great win. There is no doubting that. Salka is a big step back though from the Matthysse win. Why do you face Herrera and then Salka coming off the best victory in your career? Why not Broner even? Step back in talent but a big name. Or, the most obvious choice, unify belts with Peterson, but Salka? Really? with all the guys around 140-147 signed with Haymon, he faces two guys who aren't signed with Haymon and don't have big reputations. I have to agree with Bulldog that it's crappy.

As for Korobov-Quillin, great fight. Korobov has consistently underperformed. He also is a make it or break it point in his career. He's been with multiple top trainers. He's looked good in some fights and flat in others. He really needs a win over a guy like Quillin. As for Quillin, like Garcia, Quillin has been sitting in purgatory since his best win against N'Jikam, and like Garcia, Quillin hasn't looked sensational against guys he is supposed to look good against. He needs a good win too and although I wouldn't put Korobov on the Geale/Macklin level yet because we haven't seen him shine, he might prove to be better than those two. The bottom line is that I would consider a win over Korobov a good win and Quillin has the potential to knock the Russian flat out. I also think Korobov might put on a boxing display against Quillin and drop him. That's why it is a good fight.

Why won't it get made like the Lomanchenko-Russell fight was made? Go to purse bid and the bigger purse gets the fight.
