Floyd wont be picking Porter coming off a a whooping to Kell Brook.

All I thought throughout Maidana-Floyd 1 was that Duran would have killed him.

Apparently the PPV numbers were really poor so they obviously think Maidana roughing him up a bit will reverse that.

Brook ain't whooping shit...he's too soft.

Name another fighter than can do better PPV numbers fighting Maidana.

Floyd is the PPV daddy without doubt. No-one else would do better numbers with Maidana. However, Floyd's PPV appeal has been dwindling, with the exception of the Canelo fight, because he needs the right opponents. Guerrero and Maidana both failed so bad - by Floyd's standard - that Showtime refuse to release an offical figure (which they were more than happy to do almost instantly for the Canelo success).

So all my point is - they must be confident the first fight did enough to make the rematch a PPV success. That's all.

As for Porter-Brook, once Kell has ironed him out, I expect all the fans cheering for Porter as a Floyd opponent will do the same for Brook.

Or it could be a fight with Cotto for the middleweight title.
