I know, but seeing you two attack each other makes me happy. I find the feud so bizarre that it never fails to make me laugh.

Ok, as long as you remain happy I will take the abuse and intimidation from Mark TKO.

If he goes too far you can always ban him. The worst forms of abuse are those that come at you in wave after wave of paragraph form. Mark TKO's seven word retorts are almost cute by comparison. You have your very own troll and you should feel flattered. It's also very funny. I'm ruining the thread and I will be quiet.

So you are saying your team were better and should have won? You sound like Alex Ferguson.

    ha, yes

problem with kids football is everyone wants to win, coaches mums and dads and spectators in general, far too much

I don't go along with the idea that winning is not important but everyone thinks they know what to do better than the kids because the kids are kids

if a kid tries to bring the ball down and play a pass but gets tackled in the process you hear his dad shouting - common son just get rid of it

if you go off that philosophy then in 5 years time he will still just be "just getting rid of it"

we play football, its 7 a side and I play with one defender, a kind of sweeper

when he gets the ball I expect him to bring it down and play a pass through the midfield

sometimes he will bring it down and get tackled which will result in a goal

today Callum, 8 years old, sometimes gets caught in possession trying to play football and the oppositions defender can kick the ball the length of the pitch and keep his team out of trouble

in 5 years time Callum will be the best 13 year old defender in Britain and the oppositions defender will be able to kick the ball the length of the pitch and keep his team out of trouble

That is a good philosophy and in the long term you will attract like minded children and parents.

The rest will ruin their kids and relationship with them.
