Default Bellator Phil Baroni vs. Karo Parisyan TONIGHT! (7/25)

The NYBA makes his return against judo artist and UFC veteran, Karo Parisyan.

This should be a good one as both guys have had a lot of ups and downs, especially Baroni, who is now 38 years old and 15-17.

However, he should have won his bout against Sakurai in Japan a couple years back.

Anyway this is at 170 and looks to be a grudge match as both men are assholes and consequently do not much care for each other's company.

Baroni has that KO power and beyond tough, so here is hoping he can keep it standing and get that KO/TKO.

    Go Baroni!

Shame, Karo had a lot of potential but was never the same after the hamstring injury.

Good to see the NYBA coming back from the horrible ankle injury too.

And the painkiller addiction didnt help probably, karo has looked good in interviews recently, like he is in a good spot and past all that, hard to believe dude is only 31. Hes one of those guys you think is far older for how long theyve been around, like robbie lawler and the mouse, I was going for karo so glad he got the win. Hope he doesnt all of a sudden think hes some monster puncher due to two wins by tko...

The guy has been fighting for 15 years, he was a young prodigy and he beat a lot of solid dudes during his prime - really he only lost to the very best of his time. But the hamstring injury and subsequent painkiller addiction did him him.

People go nuts for Ronda's judo but they forget that Karo really was the first person to translate a great judo game into MMA. I'll never forget his UFC debut where he threw Dave Strasser around like a rag doll.

Yeah he had a decent initial UFC run and he had a good run in Pride fighting on the Bushido cards, but he was always one dimensional and wasn't the best technical striker. He's been out struck and beat up by a lot of guys.

Least he stomped that lil ankle biter Minowaman...then lost the rematch.

Always liked Baroni as he's one tough, stubborn SOB.
