Wlad Klitchsko and Floyd Mayweather- both still at the top of their game.

The 96 Olympiad was not the most successful for boxing, the 1988 one was even more successful- and probably thee most successful one of recent memory- but it was still a fairly decent class.

So sad most of them funked out.

Forgot Daniel Santos is still out there... but he hasn't done much in the sport, but he did win minor titles and was a top contender.

I could only think of the first two names. Well impressed with myself from what was basically choosing the heavy weight champ and p4p number one from a list of guys fighting in their mid/ late thirties.

Sadly, he's the main event on next months GBP card vs Wlads trainer Jonathan Banks.

If they let tarver take all the drugs and steroids he wants to that could be a good fight :S

Lol, that's a hilariously irrelevant match up, first I'd heard of it Could actually see it turning out to be a decent little scrap if both of them really want it though I guess.. Probably two of the best counter punchers in the division

I dunno, but Golden boy is pushing it. The only angle I can see is a juicer who just got out of jail and owes a few hundred thousand to the IRS. Maybe he's hoping to score a ko and win the lottery with Wlad looking to avenge his camp

It says a lot for Wlad and Floyd that they are still competing and still at the top of the sport - that was 18 years ago!

Poor Tarver had the world by the balls and pissed it away with gambling and steroid use.

At the top of the sport and virtually unbeatable by any and almost all possible opponents- not even the mandatories.

The only person I believe can put out a good effort against Wlad is the guy he is fighting now- Pulev. Pulev can win a boxing match. Not a punch-out, but he can win a boxing match and rack up rounds without being tied up with Wlad.

We know the only person out there with a sniffer's chance against May is Manny- everyone else is coming for a pay-check. Although, with Maidana, I'm leaning towards an upset ko if Maidana gets to use his gloves.

88 team was the best US talent ever.
