He says he is getting blood tested a lot and Wlad isn't until after the fight. That's surely not fair though?? Theres a lot of accusations in this piece.

That is for sure unfair, given the fact that it's standard practice for PED users to use their PED's during training camp and then ween off it so their system is clean fight time but they still have the full benefits of a PED-fueled training camp.
Both fighters should be subjected to the same testing procedures.
I'm generally a fan of Wlad's but now adays when you see guys pushing 40 with the body of someone in their mid 20s, you really have to wonder...
The Champ should be the first person tested. No excuses.

This again? The brain trust at Sauerland are at it again, they tried it with Povetkin against Wlad and it didn't work so they'll try it again. Wlad already gets tested.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
As far as I remember pulev and team want to have the random olympic style testing for drugs, you have to give you wereabouts for each day in a certain time period and the testers can show up whenever they want and if you are not there then you are in big trouble, which is rather intrusive and annoying I'd guess.. Wladimir and team didn't agree to adding this in so he is just getting the standard boxing tests..
It's a bit dodgy maybe but if you dont have to go through the whole random testing I wouldn't, I think this is just pulevs team playing mind games and making extra demands..
I think in big money pro sports then the tesing pulev is having is the only way to go but it is not up to him to force these rules on another fighter, the boxing bodies should make it mandatory

I would think there is a good chance of that but he is following the standard rules of boxing and pulevs team are throwing in these extra tests so they can release stories like this, which is a bit underhand in my opinion.. But i certainly think boxing like many other sports requires more rigorous testing
Has anyone seen the contract? Pulev infers that random testing was part of it and that Wlads random is scheduled for after the fight. If that accusation is true that's one for the record books.
Everybody agrees that its more likely then not that everyone is cheating so why do we only pick certain fights or certain fighters to question?
If the press actually cared about peds in boxing it would be revisited in at least every high profile fight. If the establishment wanted to fix the problem, they would have already or at least figure out a way to randomly test everyone at this level. They cant even accomplish that and it would only catch a small percentage. Either go all in or stfu.
Agreed with Inuit and Palmer. How on earth is not volunteering to the get random blood tests an implication of guilt, when the vast majority of fighters aren't doing it. Has anyone here ever had to worry about when people might show up at your work place to stick needles in your arm? Is it something you'd sign up for without any benefit? Besides Wlad doesn't even have any tattoos does he? Maybe he actually dislikes needles, this isn't 2009 A side meth MAnny we are talking about here
Just do the hair testing.
Simple.
