Its a double edged sword. Too many innocents have been mowed down that were thought to be terrorists but were in fact in a factory or wedding or party or just in the wrong place at the wrong time. My friend's friend who I never met was shot and killed in Santa Cruz, California in 2001 because the turban he wore while working at his gas station was mistaken by an idiot to be a "bin Laden" turban. Several Punjabis in the US have been killed in this way since 2001.
Just gunning down suspects can go very tragically sometimes.
