Well all them months Fury V Chisora , Eubank V Sanders was it worth the wait, did the fights
live up to your expectations, was this just one more disappointing card just like last weeks.?

There were some good fights and Eubanks v Saunders was excellent. They ran behind schedule and Fury was head and shoulders better than Chisora.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
I enjoyed it. I find that many people have an unrealistic expectation. Its as if they have to see a Foty every week or the cards were shit. Even the announcers in the Crawford fight kept up with the ko talk right up to the last 15 seconds of the fight. Once again, if there is no ko, many believe its a failure. The promoters routinely put on complete mismatches in order to satisfy the cravings of this lowest common denominator.
I dont mind saying that I was really impressed with Fury. The guy is just a natural fighter. He looked like he'd been fighting southpaw his whole life. And he was shoulder rolling. And lets face it, its not all that hard to stand out in this sad division. Fury has definitely improved as a fighter and I think he will be tough for anyone to handle at this point.
Eubank has nothing to be ashamed about. I think if he could do it all over again, he would add a little higher quality of fighter to his win list before he took on Saunders. Its ok to be a slow starter when its only a matter of time until you get the guy out of there and everybody in the building knows it including the opponent. Its quite another to pace yourself properly when you are in with a peer.
Jr seemed to fight Saunders using the same strategy he uses to fight Joe Palooka. The fight reminded me somewhat of Cotto/Mosley. Shane waited to long. Had that fight been 15 I think Shane would have won and I think the same thing concerning Jr. It happened to a seasoned pro so its not a big deal that it happened to a kid with no experience at that level. He never failed. He gained some knowledge that he will now never lose. That loss should be a guide for him for the rest of his career.
I just cant get over his old man entering the ring and saying the things he was saying and disrupting the corner. They need to fix that pronto. That to me is a bigger problem then anything technical with the kid.
On this side of the Ocean Crawford looked unreal and he looked just as comfortable as a southpaw as Fury did.
Cheers
Mostly it was a pretty tortuous 6 hours. I think we had about 4 good rounds in Eubank-Saunders and the other fights were pretty bad.
Also the arena was half empty for the Fury fight so the place sounded like a wake.
Edit - Not complaining though. Watched it free and gave me something to watch while drinking.

Agree that Fury is a LOT better than he used to be. That's annoying
Eubank can come back stronger. His dad needs to back off and Jnr needs to knuckle down and just fight. Not sure if lots of people realise how raw Eubank is. I think he only had around 20 odd amateur bouts before he turned pro. That's nothing at all.

Looks like Frank Warrens stable of fighters is looking a bit thin at the moment, who will he
attract next year.?
I agree, a lot of fans expect too much on a regular basis, especially if it's a favorite fighter.
Fighters do have bad nights, poor fight plans, difficult style match ups, fight with injuries and sometimes are pushed ahead too fast. A bad performance is no reason to call a fighter a bum.
Yes you have a point but sometimes the fans are left disappointed, after shelling out a good deal
of money to attend a live fight it's not cheap.
I have been to small hall fights , World title fights, but some of the best fights I have seen are club
amateur fights for entertainment.
I thought it was a good show overall.
The show overrunning was what spoilt it for me a bit.
