Islam once again declares war on the civilised world. When do we take it seriously.
No muslims condemn it so we can only deduce that they agree with it.

Very bad, but isolated incidents of blow back are a natural response to Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan and Syria. The torturing, renditioning, murdering war criminals are responsible for the invasions and thus all incidents of blow back like this IMO. When a million are dead in Iraq alone, imagine how many scarred relatives are still out there, and how many will have a life long hatred of the Anglo-American war criminals. I'm only surprised there isn't more of this. It is very bad and wrong, but it is a logical outcome of illegal savagery.

I hope it is dealt with in a manner, were there is no mass murder involved by the hostage taker
one more Isa nut case, too much tolerance by the West shown to theses people.

By the same token, why aren't Bush and Blair in The Hague? How can the Muslim world take us seriously? An invasion of nations or isolated acts of revenge? The invasion is illegal and the revenge a consequence of the the invasion. The thug that started the riot is ultimately responsible. This is blowback. It isn't right or proper, but is the natural consequence of illegal invasion, murder, rendition and torture. Using your same logic the lack of outrage by the general public in the West means that we agree with our elite crooks. It doesn't quite work like that though does it Al.

Miles theses people are not living in the Middle East, they are living in our community's and Country's
they should abide by OUR WAY OF LIFE, there is no room for small minded people wanting to live
in the barbaric dark ages which they DO.
If they are so unhappy return to there roots, because frankly we don't want them and as they say
as in Rome do as the Romans do.!!!!
The first thing theses people should do, is show some gratitude to the Country's that have taken them
in , instead of wanting to turn us into a Muslim state.
We have shown theses people far to much respect and tolerance, and this is how we are paid back
by acts of violence, people in a coffee shop frightened to death fearing for there lives.
This story will not end as more morons, turn to extremists send a message we will not tolerate such
    behavior.

Just before i left home for work i heard on the radio they were worried the guy has explosives.

He's been seen with some kind of back packs so if it goes pear shaped for him he's likely to just blow himself and everyone else to pieces.

He's been in their a long time already so must be getting twitchy by now.

Can't believe they still stuck in there, they should be starving by now! This might be to soon but i'm on a group on Facebook and asked where is good to go out on a monday night and someone comment cafe lindt will be the bomb tonite, i found it quite hilarious but it's kinda bad

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Its true. If we just take the simple law of physics, (morals and opinions aside), if A invades B and most people in B believe it was wrong, then there will be a reaction from B back to A. This could be what this is, or it could not be. I dont know the details yet. But YES blowback is a real phenomenon that any human being would exhibit if he/she perceives any cruelty or wrongdoing against them.
