Lack of knowledge Mr. Max No Power
You know little of 'El Muchachote de Barlovento'
From February 1969 thru April 1972 {3 years, 2 months}
Vicente goes 19-0-0 {9 KO's}, and wins the WBA Light-Heavyweight Title.
He was clearly, the #1 Light-Heavyweight behind Bob Foster during that time.
Vicente Rondon
Walked around at 195 lbs. in 1972.
He could just barely get down to 182 lbs. with his 6' 3" frame.
To make 175 lbs. was 'cruel to his body'.
That is why he moved up to Heavyweight in 1972 at {Age; 34}

Vicente Rondon >
"You see Max, you are a Moron. I had to sit in a Sauna for a whole day to lose
7 lbs. just to get down to Light-Heavyweight.
"I was really a 185 lb. fighter. But back in 1972, there was no Cruiserweight Division.
I had to give up 20 lbs. to fight Heavyweights like Ron Lyle and Earnie Shavers."
"Let me see you get in the Ring with those '2' monsters, while giving up 20 lbs., and
live to talk about it."

@Max Power is the first person that I know that has annoyed @Bill Paxtom.
Now he knows how we feel.
Well done.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
By the sounds of it, Bill Paxtom IS Vincent Rondon! OR atleast he seems to be talking in the 3rd person.
As for you @Bill Paxtom
I am SORRY that there was no CW division in his/your day and that unfortunately is was difficult for the man to make light-heavy and also difficult for the guy to step right up to heavy too because of the cross roads of his natural weight. It's not his fault, and that's a very good reason WHY CW had to be introduced.
How he would have performed given a CW division, is speculation. I wont comment on it.
I can only assess his performance in the divisions he COULD fight in.
If ANY ranked fighter today ever took on an opponent like Rondon it would make the press as the most outrageous cherry pick of all time, that's simply my point. Heaping praise on Shaver for this win is simply ludircrous, that's all I'm on about.
Remember, Michael Spinks made the successful jump from 175 up to 200-215. And he had a clean record too. Rondon is not as good a LHW as Michael Spinks.
