Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
I r remember him saying through his translator, Meldrick was landing three to his one.
Ring used to do this a lot before the internet and Ring tv have done a few but I don't recall seeing Sr in the mix over the years at least not post retirement.

What issue was this in? Yeh, Chavez seemingly still steers clear of Randall. No one wants to mention an obscure nemesis who effectively whipped your arse twice but no one talks about
I go Juan Laporte as far as chin, of course. He went to war with Chavez in a paper thin decision.
You know I almost took Rosario on the punch just because of his record but he hit Chavez with everything but the horse trough and Chavez still stopped him. Oscar destroyed him in two fights.
Accumulative I suppose but like all converted southpaws Oscars left hook was money.
Yeah, fighters often do this when they are asked about opponents. The best whatever they ever fought will be someone they beat and looked good against, instead of a guy that whipped their ass. Just damage control for their ego's I'd say, I remember James TOney did one of these and Roy Jones was perhaps not even on the list for any of them
I am a Chavez fan but he was a very bad loser and showed no class when he lost to Randall or Oscar.
However he gave some real good answers to why he chose these fighters.
We know Rosario can hit hard and he did hit Chavez hard many times. Julio said the only reason he was able to take the punches was because he was young, fit and hungry fighter. I can believe him with that one.
Macho man took a beating from Chavez and no one else stopped him so again believe him about Camacho's chin.
By the time he fought Oscar we know that Chavez was not the same top fighter.
Still believe it is an honest assessment except for the guy to take his 0.
