Round 1: Looking good, good use of height and reach, little suspect in that you're prone to back up in a straight line (could be dangerous against the wrong fighter), good snappy jab, tied up when you needed a reset, your right was looking good, HELL OF A BODYSHOT at 2:17 of the video good work on that one mate! Looked like you followed up again with some rights to end the round.

Round 2: Starts off at a fast pace, you're missing with the left hook which goes behind your opponent's head, but good look to try for the right uppercut and tie up without having a counter landed on you. You're doing better circling out this time as he's running you down, you keep good distance with the jab and your footwork. Another GREAT shot to the body at 4:23 of the video, stunned him a bit. You had him against the ropes at 4:46, perfect time for a Tyson style combo (my fav: left hook body, right hook body, left hook head, right uppercut head, and left hook head out/tie up...quickfire like a Tommy gun), good round.

Round 3: You got a little wild with the right, and backed up straight a little more starting off. Kind of a hectic round. You did good to create space and time with the pushoff but you kept backing up straight, always CIRCLE. You backed yourself into a corner that time. Good use of the clinch to slow his progress and reset. Your right seemed like it was getting a little heavy for you as the round progressed. When he was trying that showboating shit just remember shorten up your punches and swing for CONTACT and once he tries to return fire, drop the bomb on him with a counter. Contact = scoring points, and scoring points will get in your opponent's head and really put the pressure on them in regards to any positive outcome.

Tam 'Doin' Damage' Seddon for the win! You pitched a shutout really, it was 3-0 on my scorecard all to you. You had some spots which need addressing, but nothing horrible really just more training, focusing on technique and muscle memory, and more stamina will help you stay focused better, great fight.

Good fight, you really look more at ease in there, you have progressed a lot and look in good shape. Also it's about fuckin time you got this posted!

He was a tough and cocky fighter. You did well and showed good heart and determination.

Cheers for the break down this was my most recent one there was two before this that I still need to post. I could have done better to be honest, I didn't have a chance to warm up properly because the ordering of bouts was fucked up because of no shows. I felt a bit rushed. He was a tricky guy who's had over 150 fights and he was lighter than me, but i did win all three rounds on the official cards. I'm back in the ring 27th feb against a much tougher opponent so expect a much better fight than this one.

And thanks everybody for your replies I appreciate it.

Good showing against an awkward looking opponent. You looked good backing him up against the ropes in round 1. Then when your opponent tried to press in 2 and 3 you were still outworking him and by the third he looked out of ideas. He was just marching forwards with his hands up in that last round and didn't even seem to have a jab to set anything up. He looked flashier than you with some of his movement, but maybe that was all it was as he couldn't put very much together. Meanwhile, you outboxed him by staying disciplined and remaining committed to setting up your punches and throwing combinations. You were more fundamentally solid and that showed through along with your determination. Good showing. A shutout.

What weight are you fighting at Tam?

Nice one mate. I'm at cruiserweight but that guy was 12 stone, he fights anybody and up to heavyweight. He barely gets stopped. Even when he had his hands up I was landing through the guard, that video didn't do it justice because his face was bad after the fight. I'm too small for cruiser though but I weighed in last night at 13 stone 13. So the weight is coming off, I was over 15 stone at Christmas so done well so far. I'm fighting again in 2 weeks but I'm against a big cruiser weight, no doubt I'll be less than 13 stone 13 in two weeks time so I'm giving away an advantage there. I really do need to get to 175 soon

Great job. Quality of the video itself wasn't bad either. Better fight than half the crap I have been seeing on TV these days. Keep it up. Do you mind if I ask how old you are and what got you into fighting? I only ask I as I started as a kid, boxed for 9 years and have not gone back to it though the passion is there. But I am getting near BHops age.
